Elijah’s parents, Flex and Shanice, have also worked together on the TV show One on One. Elijah’s father was a frequent cast member, but his mother only appeared as a guest in one episode.
As long-term investments, Flex and Shanice had bought several houses, but the market collapse left them penniless, according to Page Six.
The report further states that the family was kicked out of their LA home. Through their marriage, Elijah’s parents, who raised him together, have supported one another. They have gone through all the highs and lows together.
But, Flex and Shanice’s love for one another never wavered. Flex had even borrowed $350 from a friend to assist him in celebrating Shanice’s wedding anniversary.
