After receiving a tip, the French tax authorities opened an investigation into the couple’s financial dealings in 2021. The parents were found to be transferring money from their kids’ YouTube channel to their own personal bank accounts.
Additionally, they had been charged with additional tax evasion because they had neglected to report the income from the channel to the tax authorities.The prosecution submitted evidence throughout the trial showing that the parents had bought a yacht and a sports automobile with the stolen money.
