Tyler met his Dude Perfect partners — Coby Cotton, Cory Cotton, Garrett Hilbert, and Cody Jones — while attending Texas A&M University. In 2009, the group of five started a YouTube channel named Dude Perfect.
They made a bet on sandwiches for basketball shots in their backyard, which was filmed and uploaded as their first video on the channel in April 2009. The video became popular, and the number of subscribers started increasing.
Later, ESPN contacted them to feature in their various shows such as First Take, Around the Horn, and SportsNation.
The group has collaborated with various professional players such as Drew Brees, Ryan Tannehill, Ricky Stenhouse, and Serena Williams. Besides, they have developed a self-titled mobile application.
