Dr. Scott Metcalfe now lives in Atlanta, Georgia with his family, but he was born in his hometown of Baldwin, Michigan.
He grew up in a large family with his parents, Letha M. Metcalfe (mom) and Uel Othello “Bubba” Metcalfe (dad), and eight siblings. Scott’s mother also died on January 28, 2014, at the age of 85. His father, on the other hand, is still alive. He has a great relationship with the duo.
Sisters Aletha Ann Metcalfe, Kathleen Marie Metcalfe, Rosalie Marve, Dr. Bernice Ball, and brothers Ronald Douglas Metcalfe, Stephen Uel Metcalfe, Rober Legion Metcalfe, and Brian Omar Metcalfe are among Scott’s siblings.
Aletha and Bernice, two of Scott’s eight siblings, have also been featured on his Instagram. Bernice is a retired General Motors employee, whereas Bernice is pursuing a career in psychology.
When it comes to Scott’s education, he was a standout student from the start. He attended Michigan State University for his undergraduate studies, graduating with a bachelor’s degree in Biological Science in 1993. Scott also received his Doctor of Medicine degree in 1999 from Wayne State University School of Medicine.
