Donnell Rawlings is a well-known American actor, comedian, and television host. He is well-known for his roles in Chappelle’s Show sketches and for co-hosting the third season with Charlie Murphy. Furthermore, his catchphrase on the show was “I’m rich, biaaaaatch!” and he frequently added “Son!” at the end of each sentence. Similarly, he appeared in the HBO drama series The Corner, where he played Bread the dope fiend alongside Fat Curt, and The Wire, where he played Damien Lavelle’s Day-Day’ Price, an ex-convict working as a legislative staffer and driver for corrupt state senator Clay Davis.
Price’s persona appears unpolished at times, considering heists in public and saying things on the stand like “Y’all tryin’ to ‘criminate me.” He also makes an unexpected appearance in Jim Jones’ “We Fly High” (Ballin’ Remix) music video, as well as Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man 2. He was a regular guest on The Ricki Lake Show, usually as a judge on various challenge episodes. In the summer of 2007, he was also featured on the cover of Beyond Race magazine’s one-year anniversary issue.
