The nasty rumors that Wills had cheated on Kate with longtime family friend Rose Hanbury started to stew in 2019, causing one of the worst scandals their marriage has ever faced.
Later speculation suggested that the alleged liaison occurred while Kate was carrying the couple’s third child, Prince Louis.
He allegedly “laughed it off, stating there was nothing to it” when Kate questioned him about it.
Following the unverified affair, Kate was also said to have expelled her former friend Rose from royal circles and instructed William to “phase her out” of their lives.
Again, nothing has been confirmed, and there isn’t any concrete proof that William cheated on Kate in the public domain, so these reports were, at best, suspect.
