DeWanna Bonner’s parents, Greg McCall and LaShelle Bonner, welcomed her into the world on August 21, 1987. In addition to her parents, she has three siblings: two sisters, Vin’Centia Dewberry and Erica McCall, and one brother, Justin McCall. She grew up with her three siblings.
Erica, DeWanna’s younger sister, is also a professional basketball player with the Minnesota Lynx of the Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA).
When it comes to DeWanna’s educational background, she finished with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Auburn University. Fairfield High School was where she completed her high school education prior to that. When she was first starting out, she was highlighted in USA Today as one of the top twenty-five recruits in the country for the year 2005.
