Football was Devin Funchess’ first sport in elementary school. During his undergraduate career, he was named to the Second-Team All-Big Ten (2013, 2014) as well as Kwalick-Clark Tight End of the Year (2013). He played college football before joining the NFL’s Carolina Panthers. In his 2015 draft year debut, he faced the Buffalo Bills. After leaving the company in 2018, Funchess agreed to a one-year contract with the Indianapolis Colts. During this time, he broke his collarbone, putting him on the injured reserve list.
In April 2020, Devin will join the Green Bay Packers. He did not play in the 2020 NFL season, nevertheless, as several members of his family had corona positive tests. For the sake of others’ safety as well as his own, he avoided the field.
