Derek Blasberg began his career as a writer, writing biographies for models at Elite Model Management while attending university. Similarly, from 2006 to 2010, he edited writings for Style.com, Influence in 2008, Interview magazine from 2009 to 2012, and Harper’s Bazaar in 2015. Furthermore, in April 2010, he released his debut book Classy: Exceptional Advice for the Extremely Modern Lady, which ranked on The New York Times bestsellers list for several weeks.
Similarly, on television, he is well-known for hosting Vanity Fair magazine’s “Conversations in the Backseat” for two seasons from 2015 to 2016. Since 2016, he has co-hosted CNN Style with Derek Blasberg. Also, he has worked on numerous fashion projects for companies such as Chanel, MAC Cosmetics, and the Opening Ceremony.
