The passing of the elderly William Zook has deeply shocked his family and all who knew him.
He was brutally assaulted over a minor detail and suffered severe injuries, ultimately leading to his death in the hospital.
After the altercation, Robert Moore left the scene, and Zook’s wife, who witnessed the incident, informed the police about what had happened.
During the interview, Zook’s slurred speech and unsteadiness prompted his transfer to a hospital, where doctors found brain bleeding.
Despite trying to defend himself, Zook could not protect against the attack. Zook tragically passed away on July 16, just a day before his 88th birthday.
The authorities managed to arrest Moore after discovering an article about him scoring a hole-in-one in November 2022, wearing the same clothing he had during the incident.
