Following the footpath of her parents, Maria is interested in singing. There is a video on YouTube where she is singing live in front of an audience with her father, Israel Houghton, on Piano. They were performing Adele’s song To Make You Feel My Love.
Her mother, Meleasa Houghton, also attended the show to support her support for the daughter
Mariah sang in the Lakewood church when she was six years old.
She is currently working as Creative Director for Adrienne’s business XiXI.
