Landon Donovan is not related to Chris Donovan. Given that Chris and Landon shared a last name, many people were confused and thought they were connected. But there’s no truth to that. In a similar vein, several people assumed the Donovans were connected because they both worked in the same field.
As said earlier, it is only a rumor with no basis in reality. Landon is another American who played professional soccer in the past and has a long history in the football industry. In addition, Landon co-founded San Diego Loyal SC, a USL Championship soccer team, and serves as vice president of soccer operations. In addition, he serves as the English club Lincoln City’s strategic consultant.
