Abigail Heringer was deaf from birth. Abigail had congenital hearing loss and didn’t get her cochlear implants until she was two years old. She was the youngest patient to have cochlear implantation surgery at Oregon Health & Science University, according to reports. Suzie, Abigail’s mother, was also the one who revealed the story.
