Cherish Finden’s daughter was born in the United Kingdom in 2002. However, the Bake Off judge has kept her daughter’s name a secret.
Despite being a well-known professional and one of the world’s most famous chefs, Finden has kept her personal life private.
Finden, who skipped university to pursue a profession in cooking, enrolled at the Singapore National Culinary School at the age of 16.
She worked for a period before enrolling in painting, sculpting, and brushing classes at the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts.
She began kitchen training in 1985 after realizing that her tiny frame impeded her from doing hefty jobs.
Finden trained in the pastry division in 1989 and discovered her affinity for pastry, the creativity of it.
Soon after, she began working for some of Singapore’s most prestigious hotels, including The Sheraton and the six-star Raffles Hotel.
