When Carlee Russell went missing, many believed the 25-year-old woman was kidnapped. She went missing on Thursday night.
According to a report, Russell was on her way house from her job at the Woodhouse Day Spa in the Summit and was about 10 minutes from her home, according to her parents, Talitha and Carolos Russell.
The Hoover 911 Center responded to a call from Carlee Russell stating a toddler was walking on the side of the interstate. After that, Carlee stopped to check on the child and called a family member.
The family told investigators they failed to contact her, but the phone line remained open. When police arrived, they found Russell’s car and belongings, but there was no sign of her or a toddler.
Carlee was last seen wearing a black shirt, black pants and white Nike shoes. Following that, her photos were also released.
