To Koidu Poder and Viktor Kass, in Tallinn, Estonia, Carmen Kass was born. The model’s father, a chess instructor in Polva, taught her the game.
She, along with her older sister Victoria and brother Kutty, were the youngest members of her family. Although her family is of white ancestry, we are unsure of her faith.
