Cameron Mathison, a married man, met his future wife Vanessa Arevalo around the turn of the century. After a year or so of dating her, the “Washed Up” actor proposed to Vanessa. The idea took place on the slopes of Vail Mountain in Colorado.
Cameron and Vanessa married in late July 2002. They found out they were expecting their first child two weeks later. Cameron’s firstborn Lucas (b. 2003) had health problems at birth but grew up to be a healthy child, much like his father. Cameron and Vanessa were blessed with a daughter three years after welcoming Lucas. Leila was the name given to the couple’s second child.
