As of July 2023, Tim Spector seems to be doing well. At the present, there is no known ailment affecting him.

But in his early 50s, he had a mini-stroke while standing on a mountain. After a strenuous day of skiing in the Alps, he developed the illness.

The professor was given a wake-up call that caused him to reevaluate his knowledge of healthy eating, including much of what he had learned in medical school.

His diet currently differs greatly from what he used to consume because of this. He normally ate a tuna mayonnaise sandwich, a package of chips, and an orange juice carton for lunch. He typically had cereal, orange juice, and tea for morning.

In addition to one or two large cups of black coffee, he said, “My breakfast these days consists of a mixture of kefir and full-fat yogurt with some berries and mixed nuts and seeds on top.”

“I may have a curry or another dish that is mostly made of plants for lunch. I consume almost all plant-based things now and far less starch than I did before, Tim said.
