Brandi Carlile and Wynonna Judd don’t have a biological link, and the two singers hail from different families. However, they are friends and share a solid bond.
In addition, the two talented musicians have also collaborated on different projects throughout their careers.
In 2022, Wynonna’s mother and singing partner, Naomi, took her own life after a severe debilitating battle with depression. At the time, Brandi Carlile revealed her close connection with Wynonna.
Carlile said that Judd was among the strongest and most soulful people she ever met. While paying her tribute to Naomi Judd, Brandi said, “All the good things Naomi did in the world have been spiritually mind-expanding for me.”
Brandi added that being with the Judds and their once-in-a-lifetime band and crew was remarkable.
