Maggie’s first job was as a brand ambassador for Google Allo, the internet giant’s brief-lived messaging service. She and other University of Iowa students pushed the app.
Mynderse worked as a reporter for The Daily Iowan TV, the campus’ independent newscast, from 2018 until she graduated. She was also working as a manager at a nearby bar at the time.
Maggie promptly got work at Insight Global in Chicago, Illinois, after graduating. Since July 2020, she has worked as a recruiter for an employment and services firm.
