On September 18, 1970, Emmanuel Besnier was born in Laval, Mayenne, France.
His mother is Christiane, and his father is Michel Besnier. In 1933, André Besnier, his paternal grandpa, founded Lactalis.
Besnier attended the Lycée de l’Immaculée-Conception, a private Roman Catholic school in Laval, to receive his education. He received his degree from Paris’ ISG Business School. Because of his entrepreneurial abilities, his father prepared him to take over the family business.
