Authorities were notified of a sad event involving a motorbike and an automobile at the junction of SW Port St. Lucie Blvd. and SW Aster Rd. by a distress call that was received on July 15.
According to the preliminary findings of the inquiry, a Ford Explorer was attempting to turn onto PSL Blvd. from SW Aster Rd. while it was moving westward.
But as the car was making this turn, a Suzuki Sportbike riding east on PSL Blvd. hit it.
Unfortunately, Armando Balzano, the 38-year-old motorcyclist, suffered serious injuries in the crash.
Though he was taken to the hospital right away to receive treatment, he tragically passed away from his wounds and was subsequently declared dead.
On the other hand, the driver of the Ford Explorer did not suffer any bodily injuries and came out of the collision unharmed.
