One of the most common questions fans have about Mike White is his religion. Is he Christian or Jewish? The answer is unclear, as White has not publicly spoken about his faith or beliefs.
However, some clues suggest that he may be Christian. For one thing, he participated in the “My Cause, My Cleats” initiative, where NFL players wear custom cleats to support causes they care about.
White supported “The Salvation Army,” a Christian charitable organization that helps needy people.
He also has a tattoo on his left arm that reads “Philippians 4:13”, a verse from the Bible that says “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”
On the other hand, some fans speculate that White may be Jewish, based on his surname and appearance.
However, there is no evidence to support this claim, as White’s ancestry is mostly English, with smaller amounts of Swedish, Norwegian, German and Cornish.
His surname may have originated from a nickname for someone with pale skin or hair or a place name meaning “white” in Old English.
Furthermore, White’s father is James Melville “Mel” White, a former speechwriter and ghostwriter for Religious Right figures such as Jerry Falwell and Pat Robertson , who are known for their anti-Semitic views and rhetoric.
Mel White later came out as gay and divorced his wife, Lyla Lee Loehr, a fundraising executive and former executive director of the Pasadena Playhouse .

He also founded a gay-rights organization called “Soulforce” and became an advocate for LGBTQ+ Christians.
Therefore, it is likely that Mike White is Christian but is not affiliated with any specific denomination or church.
He may also have a more progressive and inclusive view of Christianity than his father’s former employers.
