Lorrayne Frances Leier and Fred Hurt were previously wed. Sadly, Lorrayne lost her battle with a chronic disease in February 2015. Fred and Lorrayne have four kids together. Although their other son’s specifics are unclear, Darla Matlock, their eldest daughter, works in real estate and lives in Texas.
Shannon Hurt Rodrigue, their youngest child, resides in Texas with her spouse, Gary Rodrigue. Carl “Gene” Sheets, the husband of Jennifer Hurt (formerly Jennifer Sheets), died in August 2014 at their Sunny Valley, Oregon, home. Jennifer Hurt then married Fred.

Undoubtedly, one of the most important aspects of Fred Hurt’s life was his connection with Lorrayne, his ex-wife.
Fred has persevered in the gold mining profession despite Lorrayne’s sickness, which finally resulted in her death. He has made a lasting effect on viewers with his appearances on Gold Rush and its offshoot shows.
