The pair met for the first time at one of Vernon Howard’s Inner-Life lecture sessions in Boulder City. Amy was a frequent at Vernon’s talks, and her future husband Desi was said to have come at the lecture session as a representative.
They must have felt attracted to each other throughout the presentation, which naturally blossoms into a love connection. The couple dated for nearly three years before marrying and eventually became life partners in 1987.
