Gaiman is an English author with whom she became engaged in 2010 and celebrated Gaiman’s birthday in New Orleans with a flash mob wedding (not legally binding). On January 2, 2011, the pair married lawfully in a private ceremony in the parlor of writers Ayelet Waldman and Michael Chabon.
On September 16, 2015, Palmer and Gaiman welcomed their first child, Anthony. Palmer confirmed on her personal Patreon on May 3, 2020 that she and Gaiman have separated after more than 9 years of marriage.
