Rob Gardner’s Football Career

To pursue one’s dream and achieve great success, one must work hard and be dedicated. Thus, Rob Gardner’s desire to succeed as a footballer led him to consider his passion in the fitness world, and he quickly became the master of both.

College Life

Gardner, who was born in Florida on October 26, 1977, attended Clemson University. He started as a freshman quarterback and safety on the practice squad.

Similarly, Rob moved to wide receiver his sophomore year and was named second-team All-ACC in his junior year after setting the school record for catches, receptions, and yards per game.

Gardner was one of ten finalists for the Biletnikoff Award in 2000 after scoring six touchdowns on 51 receptions for 95 yards. Furthermore, Rob Gardner’s outstanding college career earned him a first-round pick in the 2001 NFL draft.

NFL Profession

As previously stated, Rob Gardner’s college career was impressive enough for the Washington Redskins to select him in the first round of the 2001 NFL Draft. Gardner was also named NFC Offensive Player of the Week in his rookie season after a 208-yard touchdown run against the Carolina Panthers.

Similarly, the Redskins later used him in game trick plays. Rod was traded to the Carolina Panthers after four successful seasons in Washington. He spent the majority of the fourth quarter on the Panthers’ depth chart.

It was a brief stint with the Carolina Panthers before being waived on December 16, 2005, and signed by Green By in March 2006. However, his time with the Green Bay Packers was also brief.

In September 2006, Rob Gardner signed a three-year contract with the Kansas City Chiefs. He only had two receptions for 17 yards, though. As a result, he was released before the start of the 2007 season. Although Rob Gardner’s NFL career was brief, he discovered a passion for fitness and began his new career as a fitness coach.

Gardner’s Fitness Coaching Career

As previously stated, Rob Gardner’s NFL career was not exactly plausible. His early release was due to poor performance. Gardner, on the other hand, discovered his gym and fitness appetite as he pursued a career as a fitness coach and certified nutritionist. He also established the G-Strong family brand.

Rod mentions on the G-Strong website that his professional abilities have inspired him to focus on everyday health and his determination to help others achieve their fitness goals. G-Strong also assists clients in mastering basic movements to improve their strength and fitness and lay the groundwork for future gains.

Rod Gardner’s career as a former NFL player and fitness coach has thus significantly contributed to his net worth.
