He attended “St. Peter’s Methodist Primary School” and was raised in the Church of England. Later, he went to Canterbury’s “King’s School” and subsequently “St. Edmund’s School.”
When he was a young child, his dyslexia was identified. Orlando Bloom’s mother supported him in wanting to work in theater and the arts as a vocation.
He relocated to London in 1993 to attend the “Fine Arts College” to study sculpture, photography, and acting. A scholarship to the “British American Drama Academy” was given to him, in addition to his attendance at the “National Youth Theatre.”
He worked on a few paid acting assignments before enrolling in the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London to study acting. In 1999, he obtained his diploma.
