Bronny James was born on October 6, 2004, in Cleveland, Ohio. In 2023, he was named a McDonald’s All-American, 20 years after his father, LeBron James, was chosen. Bronny was an athletic child who participated in a variety of sports throughout his childhood. He used to play basketball and soccer, but due to safety concerns, LeBron did not allow him to play football or ice hockey.
Bronny, the eldest of LeBron’s children, has appeared in basketball highlight reels since 2014. He went to Old Trail School in Bath Township, Summit County, Ohio, and led the team to an Independent School League tournament victory in February 2018.
Bronny started school at Sierra Canyon School in May 2019. He went to school with his younger brother Bryce and Dwayne Wade’s son, Zaire Wade. The boys contributed significantly to the high school team, and Bronny was named a McDonald’s All-American in January 2023.
