The terrible event happened close to the village boundary of Royal Palm Beach on Okeechobee Boulevard.

Foad Makhmoor was a Wellington inhabitant who was 61 years old. Jason Ryan Karvois hit and killed him as he was riding in the permitted bike lane.

Reports state that on December 9, at around seven o’clock at night, Karvois struck Makhmoor with his dark blue Infiniti Qx80 SUV. The collision happened close to Sansbury’s Way in the 8900 block of Okeechobee.

According to witnesses, Karvois veered and struck Makhmoor. When the collision occurred, he was riding in the approved bicycle lane.

Karvois’ alertness, sobriety, and the events leading up to the deadly occurrence are all called into doubt by the facts surrounding the crash.
