Emeka Egbuka was born in 2002 on October 18, in Steilacoom, Washington, to his parents, Henry Egbuka and Rhonda Ogilvie, from different ethnic backgrounds.

Emeka Egbuka is an Afro-American footballer who currently plays as a wider receiver for the Ohio State Buckeyes.

His Father is a Nigerian of Igbo extraction, born in Enugu, Southeastern Nigeria; he moved to the United States in 1996.

He is a civil engineer and a former athlete and was once invited for a tryout for the Nigeria junior national soccer team. Subsequently, I played tennis and competed in some top events.

Egbuka’s mother, on the other hand, is an American, and a master’s degree holder (management of information systems) from Saint Martin’s University, Lacey, Washington. 

She was also an outstanding athlete and a three-sport standout during high school at Steilacoom.

Currently, she serves as the director of data and analytics for Kaiser Permanente, a healthcare Company in Washington.

He has a younger brother named Keanan Egbuka. Moving to education, the 20-year-old attended Steilacoom High School, where he played football and excelled.

He credits his parents for instilling a strong work ethic and a commitment to excellence. 

He has spoken about their influence on his career, saying, “My parents have always pushed me to the best of my abilities, both on and off the field. They have supported me every step of the way, and I am grateful for all they have done for me.”
