Alan Jackson gets hospitalized due to his illness in 2022. In an interview with Jenna Hager, country musician Jackson disclosed that he has been battling a neurological condition, gradually making him disabled.

Alan is vastly affected by Charcot-Marie-Tooth illness, a nerve ailment that is increasingly crippling. Jackson was diagnosed with this illness ten years back.
The Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease is an inherited neurological illness that harms nerves, according to the Mayo Clinic. Usually, the non-lethal disease first affects the legs and feet.
The hands and arms, however, may finally come under its control. Patients with Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease may lose their ability to feel, have irregular muscular contractions, or have trouble walking.
I have neurological illness and neuropathy, Alan declared. “I inherited it from my Father genetically. I’ve been dealing with it for years, yet there is no cure. And it becomes more and more clear. And I am aware that on stage, I am stumbling.”
Jackson added, “It’s not going to kill me, but I’m suddenly finding it difficult to balance, even in front of the microphone. It won’t kill you. Not that I deny that I’ll be able to tour. I’ll make the best effort I can.”
